We will spend the night at the Salt Lick Safari Lodge located in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The lodge is constructed on concrete stilts, providing an excellent view of the sanctuary and the animal watering hole.

Day 1
You will be picked up from your hotel in the early morning at 6:00 am and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Upon arrival at Taita Hills, at around 11:00 am, you will do a small game drive en route to the Saltlick safari lodge, check in and have lunch. After lunch, you will relax for about 2 hours. In the evening, you will head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lions, elephants, ostriches, zebras and other wildlife, until sunset. Thereafter, you will come back to the Saltlick Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Wake up and enjoy an early morning game drive in the sanctuary, then come back for breakfast at the Saltlick Safari Lodge. At around 9:30 am, you will start your journey back. You shall arrive back at your hotel at around 2:00 pm, where you shall be dropped off. This is the end of your safari.
