Route: Kigali → Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Uganda) → Kigali Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights Experience Uganda's legendary mountain gorillas on a compact safari entering through Kigali, Rwanda. After arrival in Kigali you visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial before crossing to Bwindi for two nights at a forest lodge. The highlight is a full gorilla trekking day in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, followed by a Batwa cultural village visit. Return to Kigali on the final day for your departure flight. Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kigali — Kigali Marriott Hotel (or Serena alternate)

Arrive at Kigali International Airport where you are met and assisted through immigration. Transfer to your hotel in Kigali for check-in. Evening dinner and overnight. Overnight: Kigali Marriott Hotel (alternate: Kigali Serena Hotel). Meal plan: Half Board Plus — dinner, bed, breakfast and activities.

Day 2

Kigali Genocide Memorial — transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial & Museum, then drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest on the Uganda side with lunch en route and border formalities. Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Gorilla Heights Lodge, Nkuringo (alternate: Chameleon Hill Lodge on Lake Mutanda). Meal plan: Full Board.

Day 3

Gorilla trekking & Batwa cultural visit

Early breakfast, then briefing at the park headquarters before your gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (trek may take 30 minutes to 5–6 hours; reasonable fitness required). Return to the lodge for refreshments, followed by an afternoon Batwa Cultural Village visit. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal plan: Full Board.

Day 4

Return to Kigali — departure

Breakfast, then transfer back to Kigali. Lunch in Kigali before your transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward flight. End of services. Meal plan: Breakfast and lunch.
